Movenpick hotel is located in the heart of the night bazaar. There are lots of stalls and restaurants available nearby. It is also not too far from the old city. I booked this accommodation for the weekend in Chiangmai and could walk to both the Wua Lai Saturday night market and Sunday market in the centre of the old city. Location is superb.
The service there is also great. There is chocolate fountain snack everyday from 4-5pm when I stayed there. The rooms are big and clean. Overall, a really great stay.

I recently stayed at Mövenpick Suriwongse Hotel Chiang Mai and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent – right in the heart of the city, making it very convenient for exploring the night bazaar and nearby attractions.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They also offer a complimentary sweet fondue from 5–7 pm.
The only downside for me was that the rooms feel a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. However, they were still comfortable and clean.
Overall, it’s a good choice if you’re looking for a hotel with great service and a central location in Chiang Mai.

The hotel has an excellent location, close to many tourist attractions. It's easy to get around, with red songthaews passing by. The front desk staff are very welcoming.

Check in was supposed to be after 14:00. We arrived at 14:30. After driving for 3.5 hours. We were made to wait until 15:15 , until we were assigned a room. There were no apologies or efforts to make up for the delay.
The receptionist offered a king size bed even though U had booked 2 single beds. I queried the size of the bed and I was told it was a 6 foot bed which is definitely not a king size bed.
The air conditioners te
mperature could not be regulated no matter the temperature was set. Even at 30 degrees it was freezing.
The beds were very hard. Very uncomfortable sleep.

The hotel is only about 20 min from airport, with easy access to nearby food and shopping. Room is clean with basic amenities.
The hotel staffs don't really pay attention to details. I don't even get a simple birthday greetings which could have make my stay a little sweeter.
